While Mom Is Away A Cat Is Seen On Camera Calming His Anxious Brother

Nosey was quite distant when he first met his family. Although he has always been a solitary cat, his mother believed he could gain from having a companion, and she was entirely correct.

About a year and a half after Baby joined the household, Nosey and he became best friends.

“They are legit BEST FRIENDS,” Rosa Leger, the pair’s mom, told The Dodo. “They cuddle all day and play-fight 24/7. When I first got Nosey, he was a bit aggressive and very alone. This baby has brought sunshine into his life. He loves to play now and loves to cuddle his brother. He’s super protective over him and is always bathing him.”

Recently, Leger went away for a week, leaving Nosey and Baby alone together for more than a few days for the first time. She had a pet sitter coming to check on them, but they would both hide whenever she stopped by. She was a little worried because Baby is very attached to his mom, and she wasn’t sure how he was going to cope without her there.

Luckily, he had Nosey.

Leger viewed one of the cameras one day while she was away and saw the cutest thing she had ever seen. Baby appeared to be experiencing anxiety due to Mom’s absence. He suddenly leaned against Nosey when he was sitting in front of him, and Nosey wrapped an arm over him to comfort him.

The entire sequence was incredibly endearing and demonstrated how much the brothers genuinely care about one another.
