The infant vervet monkey, although putting itself in great ʀɪsᴋ, wouldn’t let go of its mother after the predator ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋed in Zᴀᴍʙɪᴀ’s South Luangwa National Park. The leopards, led by a female named Olimba, also ᴋɪʟʟed the juvenile during the ʜᴜɴᴛ.
The ᴛᴇʀʀɪʙʟᴇ moment was taken on camera by wildlife photographer Shafeeq Mulla from Chipata, Zᴀᴍʙɪᴀ. He also said that nature was not always nice, and this picture certainly revealed us the brutal truth of existence.
