Bull Elk With Tire Around His Neck For Half His Life Is Lastly Freed

The bull elks don’t like people at all. They try to be far from them as much as they ca. It was the reason that the policemen couldn’t catch the bull elk with a heavy tire on his neck.

Wildlife policemen Dawson Swanson and Scott Murdoch were able to locate and tranquilize the elk after a resident spotted him in their neighborhood. Then the elk was found a few times in the trial cameras.

The poor elk was noticed with a tire in his neck in 2019 and as he was 4 and a half years old when the rescuers freed him from a tire it meant that the animal carried the heavy tire for half of his life.
